The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, for her impactful visit to the Opomulero Women, describing it as a clear demonstration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to translating policy into real benefits for the people.

Hon. Olakunori noted that the visit was not just ceremonial, but a practical expression of governance that directly touches the lives of women at the grassroots level.

“Dr. Osamaye’s engagement with the Opomulero Women is a strong reflection of a government that understands that true development begins with empowering women. What we witnessed is not theory, but action — a government taking its policies from paper to the people,” he stated.

The DG highlighted that the support and donations extended during the visit will go a long way in boosting the economic activities of the beneficiaries, strengthening families, and contributing to community development.

He further praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for appointing competent and result-driven individuals like Dr. Osamaye, noting that her performance has surpassed expectations and set a new standard in the Ministry of Women Affairs.

“It takes visionary leadership to identify and appoint individuals who are not only capable but also passionate about service. Dr. Osamaye has proven to be a square peg in a square hole, and her actions continue to justify the confidence reposed in her by Mr. Governor,” Olakunori added.

The DG reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Opomulero Movement for the Aiyedatiwa administration, assuring that the group will continue to mobilize at the grassroots to sustain policies and programs that uplift the people.

“This is the kind of governance we believe in — inclusive, people-centered, and impactful. We will continue to stand firmly with Mr. Governor as he delivers on his promises to the good people of Ondo State.”

Hon. Olakunori urged stakeholders and citizens to continue supporting initiatives that empower women, noting that when women thrive, society prospers.
