The attention of the Opomulero Movement has been drawn to the laughable and intellectually hollow remarks credited to Mogbojuri Kayode, who, while parading himself as a critic of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, is clearly advancing the interests of BTO through veiled and inconsistent arguments.
It is both deceptive and unserious to play both sides of the political divide. You cannot claim neutrality while openly pushing a partisan agenda. If your allegiance lies with BTO, the honourable path is to state it clearly, not to hide under the guise of “criticism” to mislead the public.
It is even more unfortunate that instead of engaging on issues of governance, development, and policy, Mogbojuri Kayode has chosen the path of petty distractions—raising baseless insinuations about how a PhD candidate sustains himself or affords basic necessities like data. Such commentary is not only immature but a clear indication of a lack of substance.
Combining legal practice, a PhD programme, and active political participation is a mark of capacity, discipline, and intellectual depth—qualities that should enrich public discourse, not attract ridicule from those who have little to offer.
Public engagement must be driven by facts, logic, and meaningful contributions—not noise, bitterness, and opportunism. Ondo people deserve a higher standard of political conversation than what is currently being displayed by individuals who substitute insults for ideas.
If Mogbojuri Kayode has any credible position, he should present it with clarity, evidence, and sincerity. Anything short of that only reinforces the emptiness of his arguments.
Ondo politics must be shaped by serious minds committed to progress—not by attention seekers desperate for relevance.
