Olasupo Olakunori Michael (DG Opomulero), has described the recent allegations linking Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa with anti-party activities or an alliance with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as baseless, mischievous, and a calculated attempt by political opponents to tarnish the image of a governor whose outstanding performance within just one year has won the admiration and confidence of the people of Ondo State.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the visible achievements of Governor Aiyedatiwa in infrastructure development, workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, youth and women empowerment, security, rural development, and prudent management of public resources have frustrated those who expected his administration to fail. Having found no credible grounds to criticize his performance, they have resorted to fabricating stories and promoting unfounded political narratives.
The explanation provided by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary leaves no room for doubt. The Government House Chapel, like the mosque within the Government House, is a public place of worship open to everyone regardless of political affiliation. Attending church services, receiving visitors, or exchanging goodwill at religious gatherings should never be twisted into evidence of political collaboration or anti-party activities.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains a committed and loyal leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He has consistently reaffirmed his dedication to the unity, growth, and electoral success of the party in Ondo State. Any attempt to portray him otherwise is nothing more than the handiwork of desperate individuals determined to create unnecessary tension within the APC.
Furthermore, the Opomulero Group reiterates that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains one of the strongest pillars of the APC in the South-West and a dependable ally of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and the continued growth of the APC is unquestionable.
The success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections remains a top priority for Governor Aiyedatiwa. The Governor has the political capacity, grassroots acceptance, and leadership to mobilize overwhelming support across Ondo State. We are confident that, under his leadership, the APC will secure victory in all 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State and deliver another resounding mandate for President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Those peddling false allegations of anti-party activities are merely attempting to weaken the unity of the APC because they recognize Governor Aiyedatiwa’s strategic importance to the party’s future electoral success. Their efforts will fail because the people of Ondo State can distinguish between propaganda and performance. Governor Aiyedatiwa remains focused on governance, party unity, and ensuring that both the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu achieve even greater success in 2027.
The people of Ondo State are more interested in the dividends of good governance than in baseless political propaganda. They can see the roads being constructed, the investments in education and healthcare, the improvements in workers’ welfare, and the deliberate efforts to improve the lives of ordinary citizens. These tangible achievements cannot be erased by rumours or politically motivated falsehoods.

No amount of propaganda, political blackmail, or sponsored falsehood can diminish the confidence of the people in a Governor whose achievements are visible across the state.
