The attention of the Opomulero Group has been drawn to the reckless and misleading comments credited to Jimmy Adekanle JAF, wherein he absurdly claimed that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is incapable of leading even a local government, let alone Ondo State.
Ordinarily, such a laughable statement would not deserve a response. However, it has become necessary to expose the desperation behind this latest propaganda.
Jimmy Adekanle JAF must understand that court proceedings involving private parties do not determine the competence or capacity of a democratically elected governor. His attempt to drag Governor Aiyedatiwa into a matter before the court is not only dishonest but a calculated effort to score cheap political points.
It is astonishing that while Governor Aiyedatiwa is busy delivering roads, approving strategic infrastructure, expanding educational opportunities, investing in independent power generation through the Owena Hydropower Project and the 7.5MW gas plant, and strengthening water supply across the state, Jimmy Adekanle JAF is busy manufacturing political distractions.
If Governor Aiyedatiwa were truly incapable of leading, would Ondo State be witnessing the scale of developmental projects currently being executed across the state? Would workers, students, farmers, traders and communities continue to benefit from policies aimed at improving their lives?
The people of Ondo State are intelligent enough to distinguish between genuine governance and empty political noise. They judge Governor Aiyedatiwa by his performance, not by the bitterness of those who cannot accept his growing popularity.
It is unfortunate that some individuals have chosen to play the role of political undertakers, hoping to bury the remarkable achievements of this administration under a mountain of propaganda. They will fail because facts are stronger than falsehood.
DG Opomulero advises Jimmy Adekanle JAF to stop attacking personalities and instead present practical alternatives if he has any. Democracy thrives on ideas, not insults, sensational headlines or deliberate distortion of facts.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains focused on delivering good governance to the people of Ondo State. No amount of political blackmail, misinformation or inflammatory rhetoric will distract him from fulfilling the mandate freely given to him by the people.
History will remember Governor Aiyedatiwa for his projects, his leadership and his commitment to the progress of Ondo State—not for the noise of those who opposed development for political convenience.
