The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Owo Local Government Area, has challenged Senator Ipinsagba to account for his record of constituency representation, particularly the tangible projects and interventions delivered to the people of Owo, Ose and Akoko during his time in the Senate.

The party said the people are entitled to ask a straightforward question: after years in the Senate, what major constituency projects can the people point to as a direct result of Senator Ipinsagba’s representation?

According to the PDP, political representation should not end with occupying a Senate seat, attending legislative proceedings or making political appearances. It must produce visible impact in the communities whose votes made the representation possible.

The party expressed disappointment over what it described as the poor visibility of constituency development projects and interventions associated with Senator Ipinsagba’s tenure, arguing that the people of Ondo North deserve more than promises and political rhetoric.

“Owo, Ose and Akoko cannot continue to be treated as electoral statistics. Our people deserve to see the dividends of representation in their communities. After years in the Senate, where are the projects? Where are the interventions? Where is the measurable impact?” the party asked.

The PDP stressed that the 2027 senatorial election provides an opportunity for voters and stakeholders to demand accountability from all candidates and scrutinise their records, programmes and commitments to the people.

The party urged all stakeholders to make constituency development, accessibility, accountability and measurable performance central issues in the 2027 senatorial conversation.

The PDP reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots engagement, peaceful democratic participation and a more accountable approach to political representation across Owo Local Government and the wider Ondo North Senatorial District.
