The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for Ondo North Senatorial District, Prince Adenekan Olateru-Olagbegi, has met with members of the PDP Owo Local Government Executive Committee and Ward Chairmen at his residence in GRA, Owo.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the party leadership and the senatorial candidate to deliberate on matters concerning the party, the constituency and strategies for strengthening the PDP at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 Senatorial Election.

The PDP Owo Local Government Chairman warmly welcomed the candidate and other party leaders, appreciating Prince Olateru-Olagbegi for hosting the meeting. He reaffirmed the commitment of the local government leadership to unity, grassroots mobilisation and collective efforts towards victory for the PDP.

Speaking at the meeting, Prince Adenekan Olateru-Olagbegi thanked the executives and Ward Chairmen for their presence, support and dedication to the party. He stressed the importance of unity, commitment, effective grassroots mobilisation and continuous engagement with the people.

He charged the party structure in Owo to move beyond meetings and begin aggressive, coordinated and sustained grassroots mobilisation across all wards and polling units, urging leaders to reconnect with old members, bring new supporters into the party and ensure that every genuine PDP supporter is identified, engaged and mobilised ahead of 2027.

According to him, the 2027 election requires hard work, unity and disciplined organisation from the ward level upward. He therefore called on Ward Chairmen, executives, stakeholders, youth and women leaders to take ownership of the mobilisation process and work collectively towards delivering a decisive victory for the PDP.

Prince Olateru-Olagbegi further reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the party at every level, stressing that the road to victory in Ondo North begins from the wards and polling units. He assured the people of his determination to provide effective representation and remain accessible to the constituency.

Party executives and Ward Chairmen also made valuable contributions and expressed their readiness to intensify their mobilisation efforts. They assured Prince Olateru-Olagbegi of their commitment to building a stronger PDP structure capable of winning at the polls.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to unity, grassroots organisation and an all-out mobilisation drive for the 2027 Senatorial Election, with party leaders resolving to take the PDP message to every ward, community and polling unit across Owo Local Government and Ondo North Senatorial District.
