WHY THE CRITICS OF GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA HAVE GONE SILENT — DG OPOMULERO

The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has observed with keen interest the sudden silence of those who once paraded themselves as the loudest critics of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

According to the DG, the quietness of these critics is not accidental but a direct response to the visible achievements, strategic leadership, and people-focused governance being delivered by the Aiyedatiwa administration across Ondo State.

“For months, critics attempted to distract the government with needless noise. Today, reality has caught up with them. Roads are being flagged off, workers’ welfare is receiving attention, communities are being engaged, and governance has returned to the grassroots,” Hon. Olakunori stated.

He noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style—rooted in consultation, humility, and decisive action—has disarmed opposition propaganda and earned the trust of the people.

“This position was extensively reviewed and affirmed during our Opomulero Weekly Meetings, where leaders and members across wards and local governments unanimously agreed that performance has clearly silenced propaganda,” he added.

“The Governor has chosen performance over propaganda, service over sentiments, and unity over division. This is why those who thrived on criticism without alternatives now have nothing to say.”

The Opomulero Group reaffirmed its total confidence and unwavering support for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration and called on political actors to embrace constructive engagement rather than empty criticism.

Ondo State, the DG emphasized, deserves leadership anchored on results, responsibility, and respect for the people.
