As Director General of the Opomulero Group, I consider this proposition not only unrealistic but a clear affront to democratic principles and the collective mandate of the people of Ondo State.
Let it be stated without ambiguity: Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is a duly elected leader, entrusted with the responsibility of governance by the good people of Ondo State. That mandate is sacred and cannot be trivialized by unfounded suggestions or political distractions.
It is also important to correct the false narrative being pushed regarding infrastructure. Within just one year in office, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated exceptional commitment to infrastructure development—recording significant milestones in road construction, bridge completion, and urban renewal.
These achievements have not only accelerated development but, in clear terms, surpassed the pace and scale of progress recorded in the immediate past administration.
The visible transformation across Akure and other parts of the state stands as undeniable evidence of purposeful leadership and capacity in action.
Attempts to draw superficial comparisons with other states are both unnecessary and misleading. Ondo State has its own development priorities, and under Governor Aiyedatiwa, those priorities are being addressed with focus, speed, and strategic clarity.
The people of Ondo State are discerning and fully aware of the progress being made. They will not be swayed by political theatrics or baseless proposals designed to distract from genuine performance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa remains committed to delivering sustainable development and quality governance. The results are visible, the impact is real, and the momentum is undeniable.
