The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has applauded the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for the successful flag-off of the Akure–Ijare Road and Ikota Junction project, describing the development as a strong indication of purposeful and responsive leadership.
Hon. Olakunori stated that the flag-off of the project has rekindled hope among residents, commuters, traders, and road users who have long yearned for improved road infrastructure and safer transportation along the corridor. He noted that upon completion, the road will significantly enhance connectivity between Akure, Ijare, and adjoining communities, while stimulating economic activities in the area.
“The Akure–Ijare Road and Ikota Junction project is a clear demonstration of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to infrastructural renewal and people-oriented governance. This flag-off affirms that his administration listens to the yearnings of the people and takes decisive action,” he said.
The DG Opomulero further described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a capacity governor, whose leadership style is defined by consistency, vision, and practical delivery of impactful projects despite prevailing economic realities.
Hon. Olakunori reaffirmed the unflinching support of the Opomulero Group for the Aiyedatiwa-led administration and called on citizens to continue to cooperate with the government to ensure smooth execution of developmental projects across the state.
He concluded by wishing the Governor continued strength and divine guidance as he works tirelessly to reposition Ondo State on the path of sustainable development.
