The Director General of the Opomulero Group has dissolved the leadership of Mrs. Folasade following acts of misconduct, thereby declaring the office of Akure South Women Leader vacant.
As a result, three eligible members of the Opomulero Group are contesting for the position in today’s election.
Following the conclusion of the process and the official declaration by the Opomulero Working Committee, Hon. Tomisin Edu Falade will formally declare the winner and confirm the new Akure South Women Leader.
The contestants are as follows:
1. Mrs. Kehinde Oyinbo — Ward 5
2. Mrs. Adeniyan Ademilola — Ward 6
3. Mrs. Akinmolayan Funke — Ward 3
