The attention of the Opomulero Group has been drawn to a laughable and poorly thought-out statement by a faceless writer who chose to attack Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Commissioner for Finance while desperately marketing Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO) as a 2028 project.
Ordinarily, we would have ignored such an unserious submission, but silence in the face of misinformation can be mistaken for consent.
Let it be stated clearly: the reckless attempt by this writer Barr. Mogbojuri Kayode to discredit Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Finance Commissioner only exposes ignorance, bitterness, and a complete disconnect from the realities of governance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa did not stumble into office. He earned his place through constitutional process and has since demonstrated leadership, stability, and a firm grasp of governance. Under his watch, Ondo State continues to navigate economic challenges with prudence and responsibility.
The Commissioner for Finance, on the other hand, has maintained fiscal discipline and ensured that the state’s resources are managed with accountability and strategic focus. These are verifiable facts—not the empty accusations of a frustrated political opportunist.
It is, however, amusing that the same writer who condemns leadership without evidence suddenly finds comfort in promoting BTO as a “project.” Ondo State is not a private enterprise where individuals sit in corners and assign leadership based on personal emotions or blind loyalty.
Leadership is not built on wishful thinking. It is earned through structure, performance, and acceptance by the people—not through social media declarations and self-imposed political missions.
The people of Ondo State are not deceived. They can distinguish between genuine governance and desperate noise-making.
Governor Aiyedatiwa remains focused, undistracted, and committed to delivering results. No amount of sponsored outrage or political fantasy will change that trajectory.
