The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has reiterated the importance of the Movement’s weekly meetings as a vital platform for strengthening grassroots mobilization, political engagement, and continuous alignment with the developmental agenda of the Ondo State Government under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

Hon. Olakunori described the weekly meetings, held across various wards and local government areas, as a strategic tool for fostering unity, deepening communication, and ensuring that members remain informed, active, and committed to the collective vision of progress and prosperity.

According to him, “The consistency of our weekly meetings is the backbone of Opomulero’s growing strength. It allows us to stay connected with our people, understand their needs, and effectively communicate the achievements and policies of the Aiyedatiwa administration.”

He noted that beyond political discussions, the meetings also serve as a platform for empowerment, orientation, and community support, especially among women and youth groups within the Movement.

The DG commended members for their dedication and discipline, urging them to remain steadfast and focused as the Movement continues to expand its influence across the state.

“Opomulero is not just a political structure; it is a people-driven movement built on trust, loyalty, and shared progress. Our weekly engagements will continue to reflect these values and strengthen our resolve,” he added.

Hon. Olakunori further encouraged coordinators at all levels to sustain the tempo, ensure inclusiveness, and maintain orderliness during meetings, while promoting the core message of good governance and responsible leadership.

The Opomulero Movement remains committed to supporting initiatives that bring development closer to the people and will continue to serve as a reliable bridge between the government and the grassroots.
