The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has stated that several political actors in Ondo State risk damaging their political relevance by aligning themselves with Bot’s premature and ill-conceived governorship ambition.
According to the DG, history has shown that desperate and ill-timed political moves often end in regret, stressing that those throwing their weight behind such ambition may soon face the harsh reality of political miscalculation.
Hon. Olakunori maintained that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains a God-sent leader at a critical time in the state’s history, and any attempt to distract or undermine his administration will ultimately fail.
He emphasized that the people of Ondo State are politically conscious and will not support any agenda that seeks to destabilize a government focused on development, unity, and continuity.
“Those aligning with this premature ambition should be mindful. Politics is not just about noise, but about timing, structure, and connection with the people. Many will learn hard lessons from this misadventure,” he stated.
The Opomulero Movement therefore advised political stakeholders to channel their energy toward supporting the ongoing administration rather than engaging in actions capable of creating unnecessary tension in the state.
Hon. Olakunori reaffirmed the Movement’s unwavering support for Governor Aiyedatiwa and its commitment to mobilizing grassroots backing to ensure the continuity of purposeful leadership in Ondo State.

Hon. Olasupo Olakunori
