The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has called on all aspirants and their supporters across Ondo State to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding as the political process continues within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Olakunori stated that this is a critical moment for leaders and supporters to place the interest of the party and the peace of the state above personal ambitions. He emphasized that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has continued to demonstrate leadership by appealing to all stakeholders to embrace peace, unity, and maturity throughout the political process.
According to the DG Opomulero, politics should not be seen as a do-or-die affair, noting that every aspirant has the right to pursue political ambition peacefully and within the guidelines laid down by the government and the party leadership.
He further urged party faithful to avoid actions, statements, or conduct capable of creating tension, division, or violence in any part of the state, stressing that the progress of Ondo State and the stability of the APC must remain the collective priority of all members.
Hon. Olakunori also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his continuous commitment to peace, consultation, and internal democracy, adding that responsible leadership and political tolerance are necessary for the growth of the party ahead of future elections.
He therefore appealed to all political actors to support ongoing peace efforts and comply with every directive aimed at ensuring harmony and stability across the state.
