The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for approving the implementation of the Federal Government salary scale for medical officers and health workers in Ondo State, describing the decision as a bold and worker-friendly reform that will reposition the health sector for greater efficiency and improved service delivery.

DG Opomulero said the governor has once again demonstrated practical leadership, compassion for workers, and commitment to the welfare of civil servants and retirees across the state.

According to him, the approval of the federal salary structure for health workers and the planned recruitment of more medical personnel will not only improve healthcare delivery but also address manpower shortages in government hospitals and health institutions across Ondo State.

Hon. Olasupo further applauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for recognizing the value and experience of retired permanent secretaries and senior civil servants, noting that governance becomes stronger when institutional memory and administrative experience are respected and utilized.

He stated that the governor’s continued support for workers, retirees, and public servants has brought renewed confidence into the civil service, adding that the payment of retirees’ benefits, expansion of workforce, appointment of permanent secretaries, and improved welfare packages are clear indicators of a responsive administration.

“Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has continued to distinguish himself as a leader who values service, experience, loyalty, and productivity. His administration is gradually restoring dignity to public service and strengthening the confidence of workers in government,” he said.

DG Opomulero also praised the governor for creating opportunities for retired administrators to continue contributing to governance through advisory and strategic roles, describing it as a wise decision capable of promoting continuity and administrative stability.

He assured the governor of the continued support of the Opomulero political structure across the state, emphasizing that the people of Ondo State are witnessing purposeful governance under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
