DG OPOMULERO WARNS AGAINST TAMPERING WITH APC PRIMARY ELECTION RESULTS, COMMENDS PEACEFUL PROCESS UNDER GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA

The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has warned against any attempt to tamper with the outcome of the APC primary elections in Ondo State, stressing that the process conducted under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa was peaceful, transparent and credible.

DG Opomulero stated that the peaceful conduct of the primary elections across the state is a clear reflection of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to democracy, fairness and internal party unity. He noted that all aspirants were given a level playing ground to test their popularity before party members.

He further urged party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to respect the outcome of the primaries and avoid actions capable of causing division within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, any individual or group attempting to manipulate or alter the will of party members is working against the progress and stability of the party in Ondo State.

DG Opomulero also commended the maturity displayed by party faithful during the exercise and called on aggrieved aspirants to embrace peace and work together for the overall success of the APC in future elections.

He reaffirmed that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa remains committed to ensuring peace, justice and fairness in the political process, adding that Ondo State has once again demonstrated political maturity under his administration.
