The attention of Tope Liberty Cares has been drawn to the recent public commentary by Mr. Jimmy Adekanle, popularly known as JAF, in which he persistently attacked the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa while promoting the political profile of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO).

While every Nigerian has the constitutional right to hold and express political opinions, such freedom must be exercised with responsibility, fairness, and respect for party cohesion. It is both unfortunate and politically unwise for anyone claiming to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) to embark on a sustained campaign that seeks to elevate one APC leader by constantly disparaging another.

Political ambition must never override party loyalty. No genuine progressive strengthens his preferred aspirant by creating unnecessary divisions within the party or by undermining a sitting Governor who was overwhelmingly elected by the people and remains committed to delivering the dividends of democracy.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has remained focused on governance rather than political distractions. His administration has continued to invest in road infrastructure, healthcare, education, workers’ welfare, youth empowerment, agriculture, and economic development across Ondo State. These measurable achievements deserve objective assessment rather than politically coloured narratives.

It is also important to state that promoting one political leader should never require diminishing the contributions of others. Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is a respected member of the APC and a serving Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Supporters who genuinely wish him well should avoid inflammatory rhetoric capable of creating avoidable tension between him and other respected leaders of the party.

We therefore advise Mr. Jimmy Adekanle (JAF) to embrace constructive political engagement and issue-based advocacy instead of personal attacks and divisive commentary. Ondo State deserves healthy political discourse that promotes unity, strengthens democratic institutions, and advances the collective interest of the people.

Tope Liberty Cares remains committed to defending truth, responsible leadership, and the unity of the APC. Political aspirations should be pursued with humility, discipline, and respect for constituted authority—not through campaigns that pit party members against one another.
