WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IN ACTION: OSAMAYE’S VISIT TO OPOMULERO WOMEN SHOWCASES REAL IMPACT, DG OPOMULERO PRAISES AIYEDATIWA AND OSAMAYE

The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has lauded the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, for her impactful visit to the Opomulero Women, describing it as a clear demonstration of the Aiyedatiwa administration’s unwavering commitment to women empowerment and grassroots development.

Hon. Olakunori noted that Dr. Osamaye’s engagement with the women went beyond ceremonial presence, as it delivered tangible support and meaningful interaction that directly addressed the needs of women at the grassroots level.

According to the DG, What we witnessed was not just a visit, but a practical expression of governance that prioritizes the welfare and economic advancement of women. Dr. Osamaye has shown capacity, compassion, and a deep understanding of her mandate.

He further commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for appointing competent and result-driven individuals into key positions, noting that Dr. Osamaye’s performance is a testament to the Governor’s vision of inclusive governance.

“The continuous empowerment of women across the state reflects a leadership that understands that sustainable development cannot be achieved without actively supporting and uplifting women. Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again proven that he is committed to policies and actions that create real impact,” he added.

Hon. Olakunori reaffirmed the commitment of the Opomulero Movement to supporting the administration’s people-centered programs and assured that the movement will continue to mobilize and advocate for initiatives that improve the lives of women and the broader society.

He urged beneficiaries of the empowerment program to make good use of the opportunities provided, emphasizing that such interventions are designed to foster self-reliance, economic stability, and community growth.
