The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, for her engagement with the Opomulero Women, describing the visit and donation exercise as a clear demonstration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s genuine commitment to women empowerment and grassroots development.

Hon. Olakunori stated that the interactive session between Dr. Osamaye and the women further reaffirmed the present administration’s dedication to policies and programmes that directly impact women at the community level.

According to him, the visit was not only symbolic but also practical, as it strengthened the confidence of women groups and highlighted the government’s focus on inclusion, economic empowerment, and social development.

The DG noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently shown leadership through action, particularly in creating opportunities for women to participate meaningfully in governance and economic activities across Ondo State.
“This engagement is a reflection of real governance in action. It shows that the Aiyedatiwa administration is not only talking about empowerment but actively delivering it to the grassroots,” the statement read.
He praised Dr. Osamaye for her responsiveness and proactive approach in connecting government policies to the people, especially women, describing her role as vital in driving the Governor’s empowerment agenda forward.
Hon. Olakunori reaffirmed the commitment of the Opomulero Movement to supporting initiatives that uplift women and strengthen collaboration between government and grassroots organisations.
He concluded that sustained engagement such as this would further deepen trust in government and accelerate development across communities in the state.
