The Director General of the Opomulero Movement, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, for her impactful visit to the Opomulero Women group, describing it as a strong validation of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s unwavering commitment to the empowerment and upliftment of women across the state.

Hon. Olakunori noted that the visit was not only symbolic but also a clear demonstration of the present administration’s deliberate investment in women as critical drivers of economic growth, social stability, and community development.

According to the DG, Dr. Osamaye’s engagement with the women further reinforces the government’s readiness to collaborate with grassroots movements like Opomulero to expand opportunities, strengthen capacity, and improve the livelihoods of women in Ondo State.

He emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently shown through policies and strategic appointments that women inclusion is not just rhetoric but a core governance priority. The appointment of competent and result-driven leaders like Dr. Osamaye, he added, is a testament to that vision.

“Opomulero Women remain fully aligned with the progressive agenda of Mr. Governor. This visit has further boosted our morale and strengthened our resolve to continue mobilizing support for a government that truly cares about the people,” the statement read.

The DG assured that the Opomulero Movement will continue to partner with the Ministry of Women Affairs to ensure that more women at the grassroots benefit from empowerment initiatives, skill acquisition programs, and economic support schemes.

Hon. Olasupo Olakunori
