The Opomulero Movement, under the leadership of its Director General, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has directed all members across the state to organize and participate in a special massive prayer session scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, in support of the success and emergence of Hon. Tomisin as a Member of the House of Representatives.

This directive comes in recognition of over 28 years of political marginalization of Akure North, and the urgent need for divine intervention as the constituency seeks equitable representation and inclusive leadership.

The spiritual exercise underscores the Movement’s unwavering commitment to seeking divine guidance, intervention, and favor for credible leaders who have demonstrated capacity, grassroots acceptance, and dedication to the progress of the people.

Speaking on behalf of the Movement, the Director General emphasized that Hon. Tomisin’s rising popularity and strong grassroots connection have positioned her as a leading figure capable of restoring fairness and delivering purposeful leadership to the constituency.

He noted that while political engagement and mobilization remain crucial, divine direction remains indispensable in securing lasting victory.

“Leadership is not just about ambition, but about purpose, grace, and service. Hon. Tomisin embodies these qualities. Through this prayer session, we are committing her journey into God’s hands for wisdom, strength, and victory—especially at a time when our people seek justice and inclusion after years of marginalization.”

The prayer session is expected to mobilize members of the Opomulero Movement, community leaders, youth groups, women organizations, and key political stakeholders across the state, all united in faith and a shared vision for equitable representation and progress.

The Movement reaffirmed its full support for Hon. Tomisin, expressing strong confidence that with divine backing and overwhelming grassroots support, she will emerge victorious and usher in a new era of inclusive representation.
