The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for approving the immediate implementation of the revised CONMESS and CONHESS salary structure for medical doctors and health workers at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH).

According to the DG Opomulero, this bold and people-oriented decision once again demonstrates Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to workers’ welfare, quality healthcare delivery, and the development of Ondo State.

Hon. Olakunori described the approval as a historic achievement that has positioned Ondo State as the first state in the South West to implement the new salary structure for health workers, noting that the governor continues to distinguish himself as a compassionate and responsive leader.

He stated that improving the welfare of medical personnel will not only motivate health workers but also strengthen the healthcare system across the state for the benefit of the people.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again shown leadership with a human face. This decision will boost morale among doctors and health workers, reduce challenges in the health sector, and improve quality service delivery for the people of Ondo State,” he said.

The DG Opomulero further praised the governor for prioritizing the wellbeing of workers and sustaining policies that promote progress, stability, and development in Ondo State.
