The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for approving major infrastructural and developmental projects across different parts of the state.
DG Opomulero described the approval of the 2.38-kilometre flyover bridge in Akure as a bold and visionary step that will address traffic congestion and modernize the state capital. He noted that the Alagbaka–FUTA axis has for years remained one of the busiest roads in Akure, adding that the project will improve transportation, boost economic activities and enhance the beauty of the state capital.
He also praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for extending development beyond Akure through the approval of several road projects in Idoani, Oke Agbe, Ilaje, Irele, Owo, Idanre, Odigbo and other local government areas, saying the administration has once again demonstrated fairness and inclusive governance.
According to him, the rehabilitation of the Owena Dam and the approval of counterpart funding will significantly improve access to clean water and better sanitation for residents, while the procurement of modern medical equipment for UNIMEDTH will strengthen healthcare delivery and medical training in Ondo State.
DG Opomulero further applauded the upgrade of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, to a University of Agricultural Science and Technology, describing the decision as a major educational milestone that will create more academic opportunities for youths and promote technological advancement in the state.
He stated that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership continues to bring visible development, purposeful governance and renewed hope to the people of Ondo State.
“Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is proving daily that governance is about impact, development and service to the people. These projects are clear evidence of responsible leadership and commitment to the progress of Ondo State,” he said.
DG Opomulero urged citizens of the state to continue supporting the administration as it works tirelessly to deliver more democratic dividends across all sectors.
