The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has stated that the overwhelming support received by Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti during the APC senatorial primary election in Ondo Central was a clear reflection of the people’s confidence in his character, competence, and capacity to deliver effective representation. Dr. Fasoranti secured a landslide victory in the primary, polling 36,652 votes, far ahead of other aspirants.
According to DG Opomulero, the people of Ondo Central did not vote based on sentiment or family background alone; they voted for a man whose years of service in the medical profession, federal civil service, healthcare administration, and as Secretary to the Ondo State Government have demonstrated integrity, experience, and commitment to public service.
“Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti earned the trust of the people because he has consistently shown humility, accessibility, and a genuine passion for helping others. Across Ondo Central, many beneficiaries can testify to his interventions in education, employment opportunities, healthcare support, and youth development long before he declared his senatorial ambition.”
DG Opomulero further noted that the former SSG’s close understanding of governance, coupled with his extensive national network built over decades of service, convinced party members that he possesses the capacity to attract federal presence and developmental opportunities to Ondo Central.
He added that the victory of Dr. Fasoranti was also a demonstration of the confidence reposed in the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whose administration has continued to prioritize competence, development, and service delivery.
“The result speaks for itself. The people have made a statement that they want quality representation, experience, and a leader with a proven record of service. Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti represents those values, and that is why Ondo Central overwhelmingly stood with him.”
DG Opomulero congratulated Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti on his emergence and expressed confidence that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ondo Central through purposeful and impactful representation.
