Tope Liberty Cares has noted the comments made by Barrister Ajisafe during his interview on Adaba FM and considers them another attempt to score political points by blaming Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for challenges that have accumulated over several administrations.
It is both unfair and misleading to expect Governor Aiyedatiwa to resolve decades-long infrastructural deficits, economic challenges, and governance issues within the short period he has been in office. No sincere observer of Ondo State’s political history would attribute long-standing problems solely to the present administration.
Rather than acknowledge the visible progress already recorded in road construction, workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, security, and the prompt payment of salaries and pensions, Barrister Ajisafe chose to engage in sensational criticism designed to mislead the public.
Constructive criticism remains an essential part of democracy, but such criticism must be fair, factual, and devoid of political bitterness. Those who contributed to the challenges facing Ondo State should not attempt to rewrite history by placing the entire burden on an administration that is actively implementing practical solutions.
Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated commitment, humility, and purposeful leadership. His administration has continued to pursue policies aimed at improving the lives of the people, and the results are becoming increasingly evident across the state.
Tope Liberty Cares therefore urges Barrister Ajisafe and other political commentators to place the interest of Ondo State above partisan considerations and support every genuine effort to move the state forward instead of engaging in divisive rhetoric.
