The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the overwhelming show of support and grassroots acceptance witnessed at Itaogbo, describing it as a clear demonstration of capacity and political strength by Tomisin.
According to the DG, the massive turnout and unified backing from the people of Iju/Itaogbolu is a strong indication that the community has made a bold and strategic decision to align with progress under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress and Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
“Tomisin has clearly shown capacity, acceptance, and leadership strength. What we witnessed in Itaogbo is not mere political gathering—it is a movement backed by the people,” he stated.
Hon. Olakunori emphasized that the so-called critics and political trolls who have consistently attempted to undermine Tomisin’s rising profile have now been silenced by the undeniable show of support on the ground.
“The trolls can stay behind keyboards, but the real people have spoken loudly in Itaogbo. This is beyond noise—it is about structure, loyalty, and connection with the grassroots,” he added.
He further noted that the unity displayed by party faithfuls and community leaders reflects a growing confidence in Tomisin’s candidacy and a shared commitment to sustaining the developmental vision of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
The DG warned opposition elements and internal detractors to desist from spreading distractions, stressing that the political direction of Iju/Itaogbolu is already clear and firmly rooted in the APC’s progressive agenda.
“This is not the time for distractions or propaganda. The people have taken a stand, and that stand is with APC, with Aiyedatiwa, and with Tomisin,” he said.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Opomulero Group to mobilize support and ensure that credible, capable, and loyal candidates like Tomisin continue to emerge and succeed.
“Capacity has been demonstrated. Acceptance has been proven. The people have spoken—and their voice cannot be ignored.”
