The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has reaffirmed the unwavering support of the people of Iju-Itaogbolu for the candidature of Tomisin, declaring that no amount of political propaganda can distort the clear and united position of the community.
Speaking after a series of engagements within the town, the DG emphasized that the overwhelming show of acceptance, solidarity, and enthusiasm demonstrated by the people is a true reflection of their confidence in Tomisin’s leadership capacity, vision, and grassroots connection.
According to him, “Iju-Itaogbolu has spoken loudly and clearly. The people are resolute, and their support for Tomisin is not built on deception or political gimmicks, but on trust, performance, and genuine engagement. No amount of propaganda can rewrite this reality.”
Hon. Olakunori described recent attempts by opposition elements to spread misinformation as desperate and futile, noting that such tactics have no place in a politically conscious and progressive community like Iju-Itaogbolu.
“Iju-Itaogbolu is not a ground for political manipulation. The people are informed, united, and focused. They have made their decision, and it is firmly in support of Tomisin. Those peddling propaganda are merely wasting their time,” he added.
The DG further commended community leaders, youths, and stakeholders for standing firm and resisting any form of external influence aimed at destabilizing their collective resolve.
He urged supporters across the constituency to remain steadfast, peaceful, and committed, stressing that the movement continues to gain strength daily due to its credibility and people-oriented approach.
“I encourage all our supporters to stay focused and not be distracted. The momentum is on our side, and victory is assured through unity, sincerity, and dedication to the people,” he concluded.
