The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has declared that the overwhelming show of support from the people of Iju-Itaogbolu for Hon. Tomisin has once again silenced political noise-makers and merchants of propaganda who have nothing to offer the people.

Speaking after a massive reception witnessed across Iju-Itaogbolu, the DG stated that what played out on the ground was not staged, not rented, and not manipulated—but a genuine expression of love, trust, and confidence in the leadership capacity of Hon. Tomisin.

According to him, “You cannot fake this kind of organic support. The people have spoken loudly and clearly. No amount of sponsored blackmail, media propaganda, or political intimidation can override the will of the people.”

He further emphasized that while some individuals are busy manufacturing lies and creating unnecessary distractions, Hon. Tomisin continues to connect with the grassroots through impactful engagement, empowerment, and people-oriented initiatives.

“Iju-Itaogbolu has sent a strong message to the entire political space—this is beyond politics; this is about credibility, accessibility, and proven commitment to the people. Those who are uncomfortable with this growing popularity should rather go back and work for the people instead of peddling falsehood,” he added.

Hon. Olakunori also warned detractors to desist from heating the polity with baseless claims, noting that the era of deceiving the people is long gone, as citizens are now more politically conscious and discerning.

“The reality is simple: the people know who stands with them, and they have chosen. Ground support will always defeat artificial noise,” he concluded.

The Opomulero Group therefore reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to mobilizing support for Hon. Tomisin, urging all well-meaning constituents to remain focused and united in the collective quest for credible and people-driven representation.
