The DG described the development as a strong demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to workers’ welfare, institutional stability, and responsible governance.

According to Hon. Olakunori, the consistency in conducting annual promotion exercises without delay or backlog clearly distinguishes the Aiyedatiwa administration from many others where workers are subjected to years of stagnation and uncertainty.

“This is not just about promotion; it is about restoring dignity to public service and motivating the workforce. When workers are promoted as at when due, it strengthens productivity, loyalty, and efficiency in governance,” he stated.

The DG urged all beneficiaries of the exercise to justify the confidence reposed in them by rededicating themselves to their duties and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Hon. Olakunori also emphasized that this gesture reinforces the growing confidence of the people in the Aiyedatiwa-led administration, noting that good governance is best measured by policies that directly impact the lives of the people.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again shown that leadership is about people. This promotion exercise is a morale booster and a reminder that hard work is recognized and rewarded in Ondo State,” he added.
