The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori (DG Opomulero), has declared that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s emergence as Governor of Ondo State was by divine providence, stressing that no amount of political criticism, propaganda, or opposition can overturn what God has ordained.
Reacting to the persistent attacks against the Governor by political opponents, DG Opomulero said those criticizing Governor Aiyedatiwa should first ask themselves a simple question: “Where were you when God ordained Aiyedatiwa?”
According to him, leadership is not determined by human calculations alone but by the will of God, who raises leaders at His appointed time.
“When God decides to lift a man, no conspiracy can stop him. Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa did not become Governor by accident. His emergence is a manifestation of God’s purpose, and those fighting him are merely fighting what God has established.”
DG Opomulero noted that instead of engaging in needless attacks, political actors should focus on supporting the Governor’s developmental agenda for the benefit of the people of Ondo State.
He maintained that Governor Aiyedatiwa has continued to demonstrate humility, courage, and commitment to good governance through investments in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, security, education, healthcare, and economic development across the state.
He emphasized that history has repeatedly shown that leaders whose emergence aligns with divine purpose always overcome opposition and remain focused on serving the people.
“The people of Ondo State can see the Governor’s commitment to governance. Those who continue to attack him should understand that no criticism can frustrate God’s agenda.”
DG Opomulero therefore urged APC members and supporters across the state to remain united behind Governor Aiyedatiwa, avoid distractions, and continue supporting the administration as it delivers the dividends of democracy to the people.
