The attention of the Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori Michael (DG Opomulero), has been drawn to another politically motivated outburst by Mr. Olujimi Adekanle (JAF), in which he desperately attempts to portray Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as an enemy of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It is unfortunate that JAF has once again chosen sensationalism over facts. His latest publication is nothing more than a failed attempt to sow distrust within the APC and create unnecessary tension where none exists.

Every politically aware Nigerian knows that seeking judicial interpretation of a legal issue is a constitutional right. Exercising that right does not amount to disloyalty to the party. It is therefore misleading for anyone to suggest that lawful legal proceedings automatically negate a commitment to reconciliation.

JAF’s repeated attacks expose a pattern of negativity. Rather than supporting the progress of Ondo State and the continued unity of the APC, he appears more interested in manufacturing crises and promoting suspicion among party members.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has consistently demonstrated commitment to the APC, its leadership, and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Under his leadership, the party has remained focused on governance, development, and strengthening its structures across the state. Those facts cannot be erased by politically charged opinion pieces.

It is laughable for JAF to claim that Governor Aiyedatiwa would work against the APC or President Tinubu. Such speculation is not supported by evidence and reflects only the author’s personal opinion, not the reality within the party.

If anyone should be concerned about strengthening party unity, it should be those who constantly publish inflammatory commentaries capable of overheating the political atmosphere. APC members need bridge-builders, not professional pessimists whose political relevance depends on attacking their own party.

DG Opomulero therefore advises JAF to abandon his politics of fear and division. The people of Ondo State are more interested in good governance than endless political propaganda.

No amount of pessimism, political blackmail, or provocative commentary will diminish Governor Aiyedatiwa’s contributions to Ondo State or weaken the confidence reposed in him by the overwhelming majority of APC members.
