JAF needs to wake up and understand one simple reality: Ondo people are no longer buying the political propaganda he is selling.

His latest attack on Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is nothing but another desperate attempt to remain politically relevant by manufacturing controversy on social media. Unfortunately for him, the strategy is no longer working.

JAF’s social-media appearances have become predictable: attack the Governor, create suspicion, manufacture allegations, and hope somebody in Abuja notices. But Ondo people are watching closely, and they can now distinguish between genuine political criticism and a calculated campaign driven by personal ambition and political desperation.

If JAF has evidence that Governor Aiyedatiwa is involved in anti-party activities, let him bring it forward. Not insinuations. Not photographs. Not social-media theories. Evidence.

Until he does so, his allegations remain what they are—empty political noise.

But perhaps the bigger question is: who is really working against the APC?

Is it the Governor who has continued to operate under the APC platform, or those who spend their time attacking an APC governor while simultaneously building political alliances around a premature 2027 governorship ambition?

Ondo people are not fools.

They know about JAF’s political alignment with Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and they understand the political calculations behind the sudden campaign of attacks against Governor Aiyedatiwa.

Let nobody deceive himself: Ondo State will not be handed over to anybody as a reward for Abuja connections or social-media activism.

The governorship of Ondo State is not a political inheritance. It is not a personal entitlement. It is not something that can be negotiated in Abuja and presented to Ondo people as a fait accompli.

Ondo people will decide.

And those who are already campaigning, positioning and attacking others before the political season has even properly arrived should be careful. Premature ambition has destroyed many political careers.

JAF should also stop pretending that every disagreement with Governor Aiyedatiwa is a fight for the APC. Sometimes, those shouting the loudest about loyalty are actually contributing most to the division of the party.

You cannot claim to love APC while constantly working to weaken an APC governor. You cannot claim to defend the party while creating an atmosphere designed to embarrass its elected leadership. You cannot claim to speak for Ondo people while pushing an agenda they have not authorized you to pursue.

That is hypocrisy, not party loyalty.

And let me send a clear warning to everyone involved: those working against the collective interest and political will of Ondo people will eventually account for their actions.

Politics has a long memory.

The people remember who stood with them. They remember who defended their mandate. They remember who attempted to undermine their government. And when the time comes, they will judge everybody by their actions, not by their social-media headlines.

JAF should therefore stop mistaking social-media visibility for political relevance.

Your microphone may still be loud, but your political message has lost its value among the people.

Ondo people have understood the game.

They have seen the alliances.

They have seen the desperation.

They have seen the premature ambition.

And they will not allow anybody—whether from Ondo or Abuja—to use their state as a bargaining chip for personal political ambition.

Governor Aiyedatiwa has a mandate to govern. Let him govern. Let the people judge his performance. And when the time for politics comes, let Ondo people decide who deserves their support.

Until then, JAF and his political associates should stop manufacturing crises and stop insulting the intelligence of Ondo people.

Ondo State belongs to Ondo people—not to JAF, not to BTO, not to any political camp, and certainly not to anyone shopping for Abuja approval.
