The Director General of the Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori Michael (DG Opomulero), has commended the Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac, describing her as one of the brightest financial minds in public service whose competence, integrity and professionalism have significantly strengthened the fiscal foundation of the Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa administration.
According to DG Opomulero, every successful government requires capable professionals working behind the scenes to ensure that policies are backed by sound financial planning, prudent resource management and transparent accountability. He noted that Commissioner Omowunmi Isaac has distinguished herself as an exceptional administrator whose expertise continues to inspire confidence among investors, development partners and the people of Ondo State.

DG Opomulero stated that Mrs. Isaac’s academic background, international training and extensive experience in banking, accounting and public financial management have equipped her with the capacity to manage the state’s finances with professionalism and efficiency.
He further recalled her remarkable service as Director-General of the Ondo State Bureau of Public Procurement, where she championed due process, transparency and value-for-money principles before her appointment as the first female Commissioner for Finance in the state’s history.
“Her emergence was not by chance but by merit. She has continued to justify the confidence reposed in her through prudent financial management, responsible budgeting and reforms that are helping to position Ondo State as an attractive destination for investment and sustainable economic growth.”
DG Opomulero also applauded the strong working relationship between Governor Aiyedatiwa and the Ministry of Finance, noting that the administration’s ability to implement developmental projects, meet key financial obligations and maintain fiscal stability reflects careful planning and responsible leadership.
He urged public office holders to emulate Commissioner Omowunmi Isaac’s humility, competence and commitment to service, stressing that governance succeeds when experienced professionals place the public interest above personal ambition.
