The Director General of Opomulero Group, Hon. Olasupo Olakunori, has commended the Governor of Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his insightful and transparent media chat, noting that it clearly highlighted the progress his administration is making in security, education, healthcare, tourism, and economic development in Ondo State.
Hon. Olakunori stated that the governor’s explanations during the media engagement reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting lives and property, adding that Ondo State remains one of the safest states in the country due to deliberate policies and collaboration with security agencies.
The DG Opomulero particularly applauded the recent recruitment of 500 personnel into the Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun Corps), describing the move as a strategic effort to further strengthen community security and combat criminal activities across the state.
Speaking on the education sector, Hon. Olakunori also praised the governor for the employment of over 2,000 teachers to strengthen the teaching workforce in public schools. According to him, the initiative will significantly improve the quality of education and address the shortage of teachers across the state.
He further acknowledged the government’s efforts in improving the healthcare sector through investments in medical facilities and services, as well as the administration’s commitment to developing the tourism potential of the state.
Hon. Olakunori also highlighted the governor’s focus on economic growth through private sector participation, the development of a seaport project, and the exploration of the state’s vast bitumen resources, which he said will create jobs and boost the economy of Ondo State.
He therefore urged residents of the state to continue supporting the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa as it continues to implement policies and programmes aimed at ensuring security, development, and prosperity for all.
