I warmly congratulate Hon. Prince Iteyemi Adegoroye on his well-deserved appointment as the new Secretary to Akure South Local Government (SLG).

This appointment is a clear recognition of his proven capacity, loyalty, administrative competence, commitment to public service, and valuable contributions to the development of Akure South Local Government. Having previously served as Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Prince Adegoroye has gained valuable experience and demonstrated the qualities required to effectively handle greater responsibilities.

I am confident that in his new position, he will bring the same dedication, discipline, professionalism, and loyalty to duty that have distinguished his previous service. His appointment is not only a personal achievement but also an opportunity to further contribute to the progress and prosperity of the people of Akure South.

I also commend the Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Dr. Fasua Gbenga Timothy, for making what I consider a strategic and commendable choice. The decision demonstrates that the Chairman values competence, experience, loyalty, and performance in building an effective administrative team.

Leadership is not only about occupying positions; it is about putting the right people in the right positions to deliver results. By elevating Prince Iteyemi Adegoroye from Chief of Staff to Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Fasua has demonstrated confidence in merit and continuity of effective administration.

This appointment should therefore be seen as another step towards strengthening the administrative machinery of Akure South and improving service delivery to the people.
